Project Objective: To make a layered paper model out of 3 x 5 inch pieces of museum board so that the model height was at least 6 inches. This was among the first assignments of Design Studio 1.

I followed a concept that allowed me to build the model efficiently with no waste. Starting with 200 (3″ x 5″) squares, negative cutouts from one square would later be used as layer in another part of the model. This method allowed me to save time, use less material, and  produce no waste.
